Security & privacy
Protected calls. Data handled with care.
Your company's virtual office is not a public room. We protect who gets in, what is said, and your team's data, following Brazil's LGPD.
Encrypted calls
Audio travels over WebRTC with in-transit encryption (DTLS-SRTP). Each call uses temporary access, valid for 15 minutes, issued only to people at the desk.
Nothing is recorded
Capitown does not record or store call audio. When the desk empties, the call room is closed.
Authenticated access
Every space requires an account and a valid session, kept in a protected cookie. Invites expire, and attempts are rate-limited to block unwanted access.
Protected passwords
Passwords are never stored as plain text. They are hashed with scrypt and a unique salt before reaching the database.
Isolated maps
Each office is a separate space. People on one map can't see, hear, or join another team's map.
Payments by Stripe
Payments are processed by Stripe. Capitown never receives or stores your card number.
LGPD
Built in line with Brazil's LGPD
We handle personal data under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018). You know what we collect, why, and who we share it with.
Read the Privacy Policy- Access, correct, or delete your data whenever you want, with a reply within 15 days
- Data deleted or anonymized within 30 days after the account is closed
- We only collect what the office needs to work: name, email, and usage data
- Relevant incidents are reported to the ANPD and to affected people
